It's not your new glasses, the signs are easier to read

Here's a neat article I received from a friend about a font change in highway signs.

For the first time in 50 years, the official font for highway signs is changing. From "Highway Gothic" (Wiki | Font Page | Font Download | Official Symbols) to "Clearview" ( Wiki | Font Download)

I swear I have seen some of the new typeface while traveling and I must admit, although they look similar, there is a striking difference, especially in terms of clarity.

I found a neat DOT.gov web page about the change too... Seems they have to "sell" the new font and signage to states :-)
